What numbers and letters do you key on your keyboard to make a heart symbol and other symbols?

When I read the key combinations correctly, the symbols (30 listed) appeared as "promised."

1. Make sure the Num Lock is on.
2. Hold the Alt key down while depressing the number on the key pad
3. This should work in any Windows word processor, text editor, browser or email client.
